XCOM shooter reboot is official, gets new name

After literally days of rumours, the new look for 2K Games’ XCOM shooter has been unveiled.

It’s called The Bureau: XCOM Declassified and you can see its first official (live action) trailer below.

Interestingly, the game is due out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on August 20th. Considering that the game has been in development since last decade, it’s certainly surprising to see it undergo such a major rebranding just four months before launch.

August 20th is suddenly looking very crowded – The Bureau will share its release day with Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Deep Silver’s Saints Row 4 and Skylanders rival Disney Infinity.
