E3 2018 is already over and organiser ESA (Entertainment Software Association) has revealed it was a very successful year for the show, with over 69,200 people attending, including 15,000 consumers. It was very close to breaking the 2005 record, which saw over 70,000 people attending E3.
The attendance is on the rise compared to last year though, which saw 68,400 people gather at the Los Angeles Convention Center. E3 2018 featured over 200 exhibitors, the ESA further revealed, including 85 firms that were exhibiting at the event for the first time. Over 3,250 products were showcased.
E3 2019 has already been dated and will take place from June 11th to June 13th 2019, once again at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

E3 2018 reinforced the cultural prominence of video games for a global audience. E3 exhibitor and ESA member Epic Games added: "We had an amazing time celebrating Fortnite with our players and partners this year at E3.
