Aardvark Swift is a category partner at the Develop Awards 2018

We’re getting closer and closer to the Develop Awards, taking place this Wednesday at the Hilton Brighton Metropole. We’re looking forward to seeing you all to celebrate and reward UK and European game developers, focusing on creativity, teamwork, inspiration and innovation.

And we are pleased to announce that Aardvark Swift will be a category partner this year.

Aardvark Swift is a recruitment agency, specialising in matching the best candidates with the best clients in the video games, toys and licensing industries. The firm is also known for its Search for a Star competition for student game creators, with the winners announced this Wednesday at the Develop Awards. The competition was originally created as “the X Factor competition, but for video games development students,” managing director Ian Goodall told us in an interview for this month’s MCV, as it puts game development students through a variety of challenges looking to prepare them for a career in the industry.

Talking about the Develop Awards, Goodall also said: “Aardvark Swift is always proud to be a part of the Develop Awards, as we firmly believe in recognising and rewarding people across the games industry for their achievements, especially within the actual development process where so much effort can go unnoticed. Having so many talented people in the UK games industry get together for the awards, to celebrate and praise the achievements of their peers, is a fantastic event for us to get behind.”
