Activision Blizzard execs talk MLG major, esports industry

This weekend's $1 million Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major in Columbus, Ohio, is the first North American CS:GO major and the biggest event in the history of Major League Gaming. It also came just a few months after MLG was bought by Activision Blizzard, which among many changes included a reunion between MLG and Mike Sepso, the senior vice president of Activision Blizzard, who was one of MLG's co-founders.

Slingshot editor-in-chief Vince Nairn had a sit-down interview Saturday with Sespo, Activision Blizzard vice president (and MLG co-founder) Sundance DiGiovanni and Adam Apicella, the organization's senior event director. They talked about the success of the major, MLG's history and where to go next.
