The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will only be available from GAME in the UK.
Listings for the SKUs on GAME’s website suggested as much earlier today, and the exclusivity has now been confirmed by Activision in a press release detailing what was already announced by Game Informer earlier this week.
Skateboarding has always been about the freedom of ripping with your friends, and creating a game that captures that feeling has been a vision of mine since the Pro Skater series began over 15 years ago,” Tony Hawk himself said.
I’m beyond excited to see that dream finally come true with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, which takes the old-school attitude of the original games online in a big way.”
As previously detailed, the game will be faithful to earlier titles in the series by concentrating more on trick lines and tight controls. There will also be drop-in and drop-out online multiplayer.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions are being developed by Robomodo and Disruptive Games. The developer of the PS3 and 360 version has not been named.
