Activision hints at Call of Duty MMO

Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference in California, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has spoken of his firm's newfound MMO ambitions following its merger with Blizzard-owning publisher Vivendi-owned.

After again stating that it would take a huge financial effort to usurp World of Warcraft from its global MMO throne, Gamespot reports that Kotick then went on to discuss a possible online future for Call of Duty:

"When you think about other properties that we own and control like Call of Duty, and what would be the natural evolution of a property like Call of Duty into a massively multiplayer environment.”
