Activision’s Deadpool game reemerges on Steam

The Windows version of Deadpool has returned to Steam, marking the first time a digital offering has been available since the removal of the title from digital channels on both PC and consoles in January 2014.

The game and its lone DLC release are back on sale via Valve’s digital distribution platform, though without any official word from developer High Moon Studios or publisher Activision.

Deadpool – along with several of the publisher’s other Marvel-licensed titles – was pulled from PSN, Steam and Xbox Live at the start of last year.

With Activision mum on the return of the game’s Windows edition to Steam, there’s no way of knowing if a similar scenario is in the works for the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions – but it seems whatever had been preventing the game from being listed is no longer in place.
