Attention Seekers partners with BT for new live games content

Production agency Attention Seekers has today announced that it’s entered into an exclusive agreement with BT Productions – the production arm of BT Sport – to produce new TV formats and live content programming based around games.

The joint venture will see Attention Seekers creating content that covers all forms of gaming, from eSports to more general gaming entertainment, and the pair are hoping the partnership will create new distribution opportunities for games publisher. Attention Seekers will also be taking full advantage of BT Productions’ state of the art facilities in Stratford to "define new standards for the industry."

Attention Seekers founder Phil Tucker commented: We are great admirers of BT’s forward thinking as evident from its approach to sports broadcasting and firmly believe this partnership will deliver programming that will position gaming as part of the mainstream entertainment mix, be it pro-esports, competitive gaming or entertainment based gaming formats."

Jamie Hindhaugh, chief operating officer at BT TV and BT Sport, added: BT Sport has recently started to broadcast FIFA and Forza programming and the feedback has been extremely positive. Attention Seekers have many years of experience producing live broadcast events on behalf of the gaming industry.

The combination of our production facilities and distribution network alongside Attention Seekers’ creativity and industry know how will provide games publishers with new ways of engaging with players and fans.”
