If MCV were a trade publication for football, we’d probably make an observation about no Premier League players appearing on the UK boxart for FIFA 14.
As revealed by MCV earlier this month, EA had already confirmed that the world’s most expensive footballer would remain on the game’s cover despite his €100m move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid.
EA has now released a revised version of the art with the Welsh winger sporting his new whites.
He also looks significantly less enthused, perhaps due to the vast wads of cash stashed under his bed making his mattress bumpy and preventing him sleeping?
