Visceral Games general manager and vice president Steve Papoutsis has left the studio after nearly 15 years with EA.

Kotaku reports on the departure, with EA confirming Papoutsis's exit earlier today.

"We are thankful for Steve's many contributions to EA and wish him the best,” the publisher said.

Papoutsis worked on all three Dead Space games and several Battlefield titles as well, having most recently been involved with the development of Battlefield Hardline.

Scott Probst, the son of EA Chairman Larry Probst and longtime EA producer, has taken over general manager duties for Visceral moving forward.

"The Visceral team continues to be focused on new game content for Battlefield Hardline including expansion packs, as well as new development projects," an EA rep told Polygon.
