Bring a tenner to the MCV Awards 2012

GamesAid will once again be asking attendees at this year’s MCV Awards to donate just 10.

All donations will be then split amongst partner charities, as voted for by members of the UK games industry later in the year.

The organisation aimsto raise 4,000 by the end of the night. Last year it raised 4,232.If you’re already feeling generous, you can make your donation now at www.justgiving.com/MCV-Awards-Tenner.

The MCV Industry Excellence Awards will be held this Thursday (April 19th) at its new venue: the Lancaster London Hotel.

Inbetweeners star Greg Davies will host the 10th Anniversary ceremony, which will celebrate the last decade of games industry achievements.

Over 60 companies are due to attend, from publishing giants Ubisoft and EA to leading distributors Gem and CentreSoft.

Big name sponsors include Nintendo, ShopTo, NCsoft, Sega, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Green Man Gaming, TalkSport, Onlive and OPM Recruitment.

Ticket prices have been reduced this year and we’ve introduced single-band pricing. Tables are 2,599 + VAT while tickets are 275.
