Call of Duty 4 guns down Euro chart opposition

After shooting its way to the top of the UK ChartTrack All Formats Top 40, Activision’s Call of Duty 4 is also setting the pace across Europe by topping the German charts and storming its way into the Spanish Top Five,

The PC, 360 and PS3 versions of the shooter claimed the top three positions in the German charts in that order, whilst the game claimed the third, fourth and eighth positions in the Spanish listings, with the PS3 version leading the assault.

Other strong performances in the territory came from EA’s Hellgate: London, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 and THQ’s WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008.
