Third party app store provider Getjar has been acquired by Chinese firm Sungy Mobile.
VentureBeat reports that the cash deal was worth $5.3m. Conditional share offers could see that value climb to over $50m.
Sungy, which went public three months ago, is best known for its range of Go Android launchers that allow users to customise their Android devices. The Getjar app store launched in 2004.
This in Sunjay’s first international acquisition and is aimed to aid the development of its advertising and discovery services.
