Counter-Strike co-creator and former Valve employee Minh Le has seemingly confirmed Left 4 Dead 3 is in active development – stating that the game is real, and looking great in his opinion.

In a video interview spotted by Shacknews, Le explains he's already seen the game with his own two eyes.

"It wouldn't be any news if I said yes, I saw it. It looks great,” Le said.

"So I was really excited when I saw that. I was like, 'Wow, this looks great.' I really enjoyed Left 4 Dead. It was just one of those games that really changed the industry because I think at the time there weren't too many good co-op games, so it was like, 'Yeah, this is a great co-op game.'"

Clues of the unannounced co-op zombie shooter sequel previously surfaced in August of last year, when a listing for Left 4 Dead 3 was spotted in Valve's offices under current projects.” With Turtle Rock currently devoting its time to 2K's upcoming title Evolve, it's unclear which development team is working on L4D3.

An arcade version of Left 4 Dead was announced last month as well, with the game launching exclusively in Japan.
