Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy fights off Prime Day deals to stay top

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is No.1 again, its fourth consecutive week at the top, even in the face of some heavy Amazon Prime Day discounts.

At No.2, Lego The Incredibles holds on to the second spot with only an impressive 7 per cent drop in sales week-on-week.

From here though, we’re in Prime Day land, and there are some significant changes as Xbox One titles dominate the charts, the result of strong Xbox One hardware bundling. This means Save of Thieves slides into No.3, Minecraft: Xbox Edition takes No.4 and Forza Horizon 3 takes No.6

Sonic Mania Plus, the expanded edition of last year’s impressive new iteration to the Sonic franchise, is the highest new entry of the week and it exploded into No.5

Surprisingly, between No.1 and No.6, there are barely 2000 sales between them. It’s a very very close week in terms of sales, although as we enter August and ramp up to all of the big exciting releases.

The rest of the Top Ten is a who’s who in recent big releases, God of War, The Crew 2, FIFA 18 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are all in attendance. Those of you keeping an eye on Grand Theft Auto V, it’s at No.18 after a sales spike. It’s the lowest spot I can remember it in for the last few weeks.
Anyway, charts. Here’s the boxed data, courtesy of UKIE/GfK, for the week ending July 21nd.
