Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy holds on to No.1 in the weekly Top Ten, fighting off tough competition from Jurassic World: Evolution's console launch to hold on to the top spot.
Crash saw a 42 per cent reduction in sales compared to last weeks figures, but still outsold Jurassic World: Evolution, which had its own set of decent figures, adding to a digital PC launch that has seen it catapulted into Steam's top seller list.
It speaks less of the quality on the two games and more of the types of games that fit well on consoles – and by extension boxed copies – with Jurassic World Evolution a solid strategy title while Crash is a rootin' tootin' platformin' extravaganza.
Coming in at third is The Crew 2, followed up by the ever present FIFA 18.
The bottom half of the charts are closely packed together with God of War (No.6), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (No.7), and Far Cry 5 (No.8) all closely competing, with Mario Kart taking the No.7 by selling a single copy more than Far Cry 5.
Otherwise, it's a fairly static week. Grand Theft Auto V is notable by its absence, but both Star Wars Battlefront II and Fallout 4 are holding position in the Top Ten off the back of strong bundle deals and retailer promotions.
