D3P’s Real So So Bad took the top prize home at the MCV and Xbox 360 GamesFives home on Friday, winning an Xbox 360 for each member of the team.
The side, which included PlayV’s Luiz Ferrera in goal, also picked up a 1,500 donation to a charity of their choice. They picked The Meningitis Trust and Field of Dreams.
Real So So Bad defeated a team from Batman: Arkham Asylum developer Rocksteady in a nail-biting final, which saw the lads from D3p win out 5-4 on penalties.
Gem’s St George’s Gems team ended up Plate Champions, defeating Imagine Publishing 2 – 1 in the final.
The player of the tournament was never in doubt – it went to Rocksteady’s Glen Garner, who also finished up with the Golden Boot award, after scoring 47 goals.
Almost 60 teams from the likes of Sega, PlayStation, Xbox, THQ, Konami, Activision, Atari, GAME and Gamestation fought it out in sun-drenched conditions over the course of the day.
