Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition dated for PS4 and Xbox One

Blizzard has confirmed a release date for Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

It has been pencilled in for August 19th, which could well translate to August 22nd in the UK.

The developer has also confirmed that those who already own the current version of the game on PS3 or Xbox 360 will be able to transfer their save files over to the next-gen releases.

The Ultimate Evil Edition includes the Reaper of Souls expansion that was recently released on PC.

Other features include four player local co-op, online multiplayer and a new easier Apprentice Mode.

In the US the PS4 and Xbox One versions have been priced at $59.99 and the current-gen SKUs at $39.99.

It’s the first time the game has been confirmed for anything other than PS4, incidentally.
