DmC: Definitive Edition release date shifts forwards

The release date for Capcom’s DmC: Definitive Edition has been moved forward by a week.

The remastered version of Ninja Theory’s 2013 action title will now be released on March 10th. It had previously been due to hit PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 17th.

As well as running in 1080p and 60fps, the game also has updated textures, characters, skins and cinematics and includes all post-release DLC. There’s also a new turbo mode, which speeds things up by 20 per cent, and a Hardcore gameplay mode that makes ranking up harder and more closely resembles previous releases in the series.

Also added is a manual target lock, two additional difficulty modes, a new cutscene and a whole host of sweeping tweaks and balance changes.

This summer will also see the release of a remastered version of Devil May Cry 4.
