Take Two confirmed that post-apocalyptic shooter Borderlands will be released on 360, PS3 and PC next year – and revealed the first detail sot he game.
Speaking at the publisher's E3 press conference this morning, president of developer Gearbox Randy Pitchford surprised the crowd by claiming that the title contained over half a million weapons”.
Other surprises came when Ptichford showed off in-game dune buggies reminiscent of Halo, revealed that the title takes place on the planet Pandora – and executed foes with a ‘face melting' weapon.
The gory credentials of the game were to put into context as Pitchford laid waste to enemies – which all lost limbs – stating: Woah! That looked nasty.”
