EA: Harry Potter gets Kinect support

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will offer Kinect support on Xbox 360 when it arrives at retail this November.

Players will be able to cast their spell much like they see Harry doing on-screen – by thrusting their arm forwards in a number of different ways to conjure an assortment of effects.

The darker, more-action orientated title is perhaps more suited to motion control than existing games on the series, which have been as reliant on platforming and puzzles as they were on fighting.

All of this was demonstrated on-screen by James and Oliver Phelps, who play two of the Weasley brothers in the hit Hollywood films.
