EA has bounced back from its less than stellar third quarter performance, reporting a solid fourth quarter that brought in $1.2bn for the publisher.
The figure relates to what was earned during the three month period leading up to March 31st of this year. The period’s overall revenue showed a slight year-over-year decline, stacked up against the $1.36bn generated for the quarter in fiscal 2012.
Digital sales spiked 22 per cent, with $108m made for the quarter. That’s compared to $88m in 2012.
The firm reported full year net revenue of $3.79bn as well, down from $4.14bn billion in 2012.
As part of its report, EA also stated that it was the top global publisher on the iOS App Store for the entirely of 2013.
