Ellingford steps down at Take 2

Publish date:

After ten years at the publisher, MCV can reveal that James Ellingford has left Take 2. While he relinquishes his full time role, he will continue at the publisher as a consultant.

Ellingford's departure comes after a turbulent period for the publisher, which has made widespread staff cuts and sold off peripherals arm Joytech to Mad Catz during 2007. There has also been a major shift of resource over to Take 2's Geneva HQ.

Take 2 is expected to announce the new management structure of its international operation shortly, but would not make any comment at the time of writing.
