The Entertainment Retailer's Association has revealed the latest findings of its UK consumer survey, and it's good news for PlayStation.
The firm's market research included over 2,060 respondents, and was presented as part of the firm's AGM on Wednesday.
It revealed that 10 per cent of adults say they are ‘likely to' or ‘definitely will' buy a PS4 this Christmas. That's versus seven per cent for Xbox One.
PlayStation gamers are also slightly more brand loyal than Xbox, the survey claims. Gamers that own an Xbox 360 are three times more likely than average to buy an Xbox One. However, owners of a PS3 are four times more likely to buy a PS4 than average.
