Expect more Sony game announcements at Tokyo Game Show

Sony had to drop some announcements from its Gamescom 2014 presentation as there wasn’t enough time to fit them all in.

That’s according to Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida who told Famitsu, via Gematsu, that PS4 game announcements will as a result provide the focus of its Tokyo Game Show press event next month.

This time, the theme was to introduce first-party games, as well as a number of third-party games,” he said. But to be honest, in selecting the games we wanted to introduce, we realized it wasn’t possible to fit everything into the frame of the conference, so unfortunately there were some games we couldn’t introduce this time.

That’s one of the reasons we had the new The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne trailers before the conference.”

Of course, don’t expect The Last Guardian to be one of them…
