Fable Coin Golf announced for Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 users will be able to take a little Fable with them wherever they go with Fable Coin Golf.

The new mini-game was one of several announcements Microsoft made for its new mobile platform during its CES 2011 keynote.

Coin Golf will be allow players to earn money by gambling fictional gold, and their winnings can then be transferred to Fable III – similar to last year’s smartphone app, Fable III: Kingmaker.

Microsoft also announced it was working on a new mobile version of its retro service Game Room. This will be compatible with Game Room profiles on Xbox Live and PC, and features classic games such as Centipede, Asteroids Deluxe, Lunar Lander and Pitfall.

Other new game announcements included Windows Phone 7 editions of Pac-Man, Pro Evolution Soccer, Full House Poker and popular iPhone title Pocket God.
