Both the PS4 and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA 15 outsold the Xbox One SKU in the UK, according to numbers reported online.
Metro claims that the PS4 release outsold the Xbox One version by 100,000 in the UK across Friday and Saturday, winning a 32 per cent share of the game's overall sales.
It also claims that Xbox 360 accounted for 30 per cent with Xbox One trailing on 22 per cent and PS3 with 15 per cent.
It's worth remembering too that FIFA 15 was heavily promoted on Xbox One, with Microsoft's co-marketing tie-up focusing on the console's exclusive Ultimate Team Legends mode.
The official UKIE GfK Chart-Track data only revealed that the combined market share of the next-gen consoles was 54 per cent, with 45 per cent claimed by PS3 and Xbox 360.
It added that the game accounted for 87 per cent of the UK's total weekly market revenue and 80 per cent of all units.
UPDATE: As pointed out on Twitter, Xbox One owners also have access to the EA Access subscriber program, which offers a discount on the game's digital download. As the chart data references only physical copies, this could have had at least a partial impact.
