Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC not coming to PS3 and 360

BioWare has said that any upcoming DLC for RPG title Dragon Age: Inquisition will not be released for either the PS3 or Xbox 360.

However, those who already play the game on legacy hardware will now have the option of transferring their save data to either the PS4 or Xbox One versions – although migration will be restricted to the same console family.

Those who have already purchased DLC for the older versions will be able to download the same content for free on next-gen machines of they migrate. The same is true of promotional or pre-order items.

The tool needed for transfers will arrive alongside patch 8 this month. A complete technical breakdown of all the migration requirements can be seen here.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be added to EA Access next month, for those who subscribe to the EA service on Xbox One.
