Games veteran calls for Nintendo IP to go multiplatform

Nintendo should go multiplatform, industry veteran and Eidos life president Ian Livingstone has said.

The Games Workshop creator devoted his opening briefing at the Bristol Games Hub to offering advice to aspiring as well as accomplished developers, asPocket Gamerreports.

Nintendo should have their IP on every platform,” Livingstone said, who argued that reinforcing IP should take precedence over the health of the publisher’s platforms. Otherwise a whole generation of young people will miss out on their games.”

There have been calls from Nintendo investors for the games maker to get involved in the smartphone market, but Nintendo has continually rejected those summons.
