The last Xbox 360 MCV Quiz of 2012 signed off the year in style, with Gem crowned as the night’s big winners.
The popular night out was once again held in Holborn’s Sway bar and pitted retailers, platform holders and more against each other in a battle of wits.
Dead Island Riptide even sent a team of zombies to compete (see below).
Distributor and retail services provider Gem triumphed in the quiz, which included two devious intermission rounds, as well as the usual Q&A, visual and music teasers. Each member of the team took home a 4GB Xbox 360 console with Kinect.
But Gem wasn’t the only winner last night. There were thousands of pounds’ worth of prizes last night provided by sponsors Turner Media Innovations, Ubisoft, NCsoft, Gem and Dead Island Riptide.
Attendees had the chance to win copies of Assassin’s Creed III, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution, Guild Wars 2, Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition, Risen 2, Of Orcs and Men and 50 of John Lewis Vouchers.
The Xbox 360 MCV Christmas Quiz will return in May 2013.
