Games TV channel Ginx has taken to crowdfunding platform Crowdcube in an effort to boost its international presence.
The firm is looking for 540,000 from backers to help fund new apps for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as growing the amount of global content it features.
Available in the UK via TV provider Virgin Media, Ginx claims to currently reach four million homes in Britain, for a total of 26 million around the world.
The money from its campaign will also go towards doubling its UK TV standing, growing its viewership by 4.5 million households.
New shows will also be created, with Ginx outlining plans for a weekly eSports round up, daily online news show, weekly review retrospective and a round-up of software charts.
Unlike crowdfunding services such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo, Crowdcube allows investors to receive shares in the companies they back.
Among the benefits offered to those supporting Ginx are free access to the channel's online player, an invitation to join its editorial board and the opportunity to guest star on one of Ginx's TV shows, which include Videogame Nation and The First Hour.
Although backers can invest as little as 10 (and go up to any amount they wish to), Ginx's incentives are split into 20, 100, 1,000 and 10,000 levels.
