Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar’s "biggest open world game to date"

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be its biggest open-world game yet.

That’s a loaded statement considering the massive game worlds seen in Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The statement was posted on Rockstar’s official website in response to a user question regarding the lack of plane gameplay in GTA IV. The developer-publisher replied, The city was simply too small for effective and enjoyable flying”, and added, Fear not, they are returning in what is our biggest open world game to date.”

The post also contains two new screenshots from GTA 5 in response to a fan’s request for more details on the game, which have been hard to come by since its announcement last year.

However, Rockstar added that it wasn’t currently in a position to show more of the game, and that it would be a while before more game assets would be released.

No release date has yet been set for GTA 5, but here are the two latest screenshots. It’s all we’re getting for a long time.
