Activision-owned developer Neversoft is working on a first-person shooter for the publisher.
The California-based studio is better known for producing the Tony Hawk skateboarding games and more recently the Guitar Hero music titles, before Activision scrapped the IP earlier this year.
A number of jobs are now being advertised on the studio's website, reports Gamerzines, following a smaller selection of ads that went live on the site earlier this year. Job vacancies include senior art director, senior level designer and lead PC engineer to work on an FPS.
It has not been confirmed which formats the game will be released on, although the ad for the position of lead PC engineer claims it will arrive on PC.
One ad stated: The primary focus will be ensuring the successful development and timely release of our first Windows PC SKU.”
Neversoft says it is on the lookout for developers with experience designing top notch levels or gameplay experiences in shipped triple-A titles”.
After announcing the end of Guitar Hero earlier this year, Activision later claimed the franchise is actually just in a hiatus”.
Guitar Hero was originally created by Harmonix which later went on to develop Rock Band for EA.
