Ubisoft has announced a partnership with Hasbro to develop and publish a number of console releases based on the toy maker's popular board games.
It marks an end to Hasbro's long-term deal for console games with EA, although the firm will still make mobile games based on Hasbro properties.
Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, Battleship, Cranium, and Trivial Pursuit were all confirmed as brands involved in the Ubisoft deal – though Scrabble specifically is limited to a release in US and Canada due to complicated ownership rights around the word game.
"Ubisoft's leadership and expertise in the console gaming space will help support Hasbro's strategy of bringing consumers engaging play experiences with our brands across multiple platforms,” Hasbro senior VP and GM for digital gaming Mark Blecher stated.
No release dates or any other info relating to the titles were mentioned in Ubisoft's announcement.
