Introducing the GamesAid choir!

GamesAid’s latest fundraising venture has been revealed – a UK games industry choir.

The group will give its first performance at the GamesAid Christmas Concert, which takes place on Wednesday December 19th at St Stephen’s, Rosslyn Hill. Tickets cost 20 per adult and 10 for under 16s and are available now from www.justgiving.com/christmasconcert.

The event is sponsored by Ubisoft, EA, Sega, Mastertronic, OnLive and IGN.

IGN’s international VP and MD Ian Chambers, who masterminded the initiative, stated: What started as a dream in March is now becoming reality. 24 people from the games industry, most of whom have never sung in a choir before will take centre stage in front of their peers. Games On Song is already proving that singing can bring people together like nothing else.”

The full line-up of choir members is as follows: Ian Chambers (IGN), Rich Keen (IGN), Andy Payne (Mastertronic), Kirsty Payne (Rocket Media), Ian Livingstone (Eidos), Keith Ramsdale (EA), John Clark (Sega), Amanda Farr (Sega), Peter Oliver (SEGA), Bruce Grove (OnLive), Ombeline Wallon (Ubisoft), Chris Marcus (Ubisoft), Rob Cooper (Ubisoft), Alan Dykes (Ubisoft), Jo Twist (Ukie), Katie Brooks (Bethesda), Becca Roberts (Indigo Pearl), Sophie Cristobal (Localisation Consultant), Charlotte Simmons (PR Consultant), Emily Britt (Square Enix), Tracey McGarrigan (Sci Fi London), Phil Brannelly (Thumbstar Games), Harry Holmwood (Marvelous) andPaul Marcantonio (ClickandBuy).
