Irrational’s Levine, Zynga’s Pincus up for Time 100

Voting has opened for Time Magazine’s annual 100 most influential people poll, with two notable gaming industry leaders making this year’s list of finalists.

Irrational Games’ Ken Levine and Zynga CEO Mark Pincus are among the diverse selection of influencers described by Time as ‘leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes.’

Regarding Levine, Time writes, "His propensity to elevate the conversation makes the designer one of gaming’s luminaries."

As for Pincus, "Pincus never wants you to work again. Or at least that’s how it seems, considering how addictive Zynga’s roster of games is."

The full list of finalists includes a wide variety of influential individuals (and groups in some cases) such as Barack Obama, Alec Baldwin, Tim Tebow, LMFAO, Mark Zuckerberg, Nicki Minaj, Anonymous, and several more.

Voting ends April 6th, with the poll winner earning inclusion in the Time 100 issue. The complete Time 100 list will be chosen by the editors and unveiled via Time’s website on April 17th.
