JAPAN: Move launch line-up unveiled

Sony has revealed its launch titles and promotional plans for PlayStation Move in Japan, including prices and hardware bundles.

The motion-sensing device will launch on October 21st – more than one month after the US and UK releases on September 19th and September 15th respectively.

A Move motion controller will cost YEN 3,980 while the navigation controller will be priced at YEN 2,980, as listed by Andriasang. A PlayStation Eye camera bundle that comes with a Move controller and a copy of Beat Sketch will set consumers back YEN 5,980.

The following games will be available at launch:

– EyePet (YEN 3,980)
– Sports Champions (YEN 3,980)
– Beat Sketch (YEN 2,980)
– High Velocity Bowling (YEN 1,900)
– Kung Fu Rider (YEN 3,980)
– Big 3 Gun Shooting (YEN 6,279)

There will also be several hardware bundles available. A Move controller, Eye camera and a copy of Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition will cost YEN 7,980, while Big 3 Gun Shooting with a Move controller and Move shooting attachment will be priced at YEN 11,980.

A demo will be packaged with all hardware bundles, showcasing a range of upcoming Move titles. Sony also plans to show off Move with playable games at events in Tokyo from July 17th to August 31st.

In Europe online retailers became the first to list UK prices for PlayStation Move last month.
