Knight becomes GAME’s UK Retail MD in senior management shuffle

GAME has announced some changes to its senior management team following its recent strategic realignment.

As announced last week, GAME has now been split into three divisions – GAME Retail, GAME eSports and Events and GAME Digital Solutions.

Former category director Charlotte Knight, who has been with the company for 13 years, has been promoted to the role of UK retail MD with responsibility for all commercial activity in the UK.

In addition, former Play.com MD Stuart Rowe becomes GAME’s new business development director and will spearhead the company’s digital strategy. Also appointed to the senior team are Multiplay founder and CEO Craig Fletcher and COO Stewart Fletcher.

Pablo Crespo remains in charge of GAME’s Spanish business although he will reportedly have increased involvement in wider group activities.

I’m both fortunate and excited to work alongside such a talented and dynamic senior team and am delighted to be announcing these new, senior appointments, which further strengthen our leadership team,” CEO Martyn Gibbs said.

The changes will ensure we are best placed to deliver a leading customer experience for both gamers and gifters, whilst maximising the long term growth potential of each of our divisions.”
