MCV AWARDS 2012: PR & Marketing finalists

Activision gets a nomination for each award in the PR & Marketing category at this year’s MCV Awards.

Thanks to either the work of its trade marketing, marketing and PRs teams, or big brands such as Modern Warfare 3 and Skylanders, the major publisher is putting up a big fight for prizes.

Elsewhere Bethesda gets six PR & Marketing nominations – five of which are thanks to Skyrim, with a New Game Brand nod for Rage.

Meanwhile Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, EA and Ubisoft all get four nominations a piece.

Our PR Team award is voted for separately by a panel of over 100 UK games journalists. There are 11 finalists for this award to ensure as fair a win as possible – and for the first time, writers will be asked to pick first and second choices in an Oscars-style voting to declare the best games PR team.
