MCV Awards 2016 Finalist Profiles: Distribution Team

As we countdown to the MCV Awards 2016, which takes place in London on March 3rd, we profile each of the finalists for the Distribution Team category

Advantage

Part of the Centresoft family, Advantage Distribution is a multi-channel supplier, distributing thousands of parcels each week for next day delivery to the UK retail channel. The company has been trading for 13 years and continues to deliver creative sales and marketing solutions for the space.

CentreSoft

CentreSoft is a specialist multi-format distributor, having launched DLCSoft into the ESD arena as part of a first to market approach it has taken over the last 12 months. And in MCV’s Annual Retail Survey, 84 per cent of store managers said CentreSoft was the distributor that best-supported their business.

Click Entertainment

Click is a UK-based specialist wholesaler and distributor of consoles & accessories, serving both large and small customers, projecting a 25 per cent increase in turnover by year end.

Exertis

Exertis has grown its gaming category by 17 per cent year-on-year and its independent retail business by 104 per cent, claiming 23 per cent of the UK console market.

Koch Media

Last year, Koch introduced its SuperIndie initiative – a suite of services tailored specifically to independent retailers, including range deals, digital & physical PoS packs and credit facilities.

Lime Distribution

Launched in September 2014, Lime pushed ahead last year with new initiatives within indie retail, including support for in-store events & competitions and dedicated lines/SKUs.

Link Distribution

A fast-growing trade-only distributor, Link works with publishers such as Konami, Disney, Activision, EA, Microsoft and Sony.

Pavillion Distribution

Pavilion was only set up in 2013, but now handles upward of 13 publishers on either an exclusive or open distribution model.

The MCV Awards 2016 takes place on March 3rd at the brand new Hilton Bankside Hotel in London,hosted by BBC funnyman Miles Jupp.
