Google entertainment manager joins Weve

Google's industry manager for entertainment, Warren Mills, will be leaving the firm at the end of the month to take a role at mobile commerce company Weve.

In his new position Mills will be responsible for gaming, music and film as entertainment partnerships manager.

Weve is a joint venture between mobile operators Vodafone, EE and O2 and the company aims to enhance and speed up the development of marketing and payment services within the UK's mobile space.

New additions for Xbox UK team
The Xbox UK team has welcomed a number of new faces. The firm's sales department has been split in two with two new sales leads. James Wareing joined the team from Nokia late last year, while Anne Lipissier will start next month from LG.

HMV's Mulroy joins GAME
Former HMV man Dominic Mulroy has been hired by?GAME to the position of senior business development manager. Mulroy was head of Gamerbase at?HMV and created the retail concept for competitive gaming which was bought by HMV and put into effect in stores in?London,?Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

A statement from GAME read, We can confirm that?Dominic has come on board and his role will be focused on developing new areas of the business where we can better deliver for the gaming community.”

Creative Skillset hires Blake
Kim Blakehas joined the Next Gen Skills campaign as talent development co-ordinator. UKIE and Creative Skillset have jointly funded the post, and Blake's role will see her work with the games industry and educators to help enhance and improve the amount of talent in the games and visual effects sectors.

Integri Entertainment expands team
The firm has continued to expand its European sales team with the appointment of Richard Mann.

Mann will be taking on core game publishers and Intergri's non-endemic brands and will be based at?Intergri Entertainment's new European office in?London's Soho Square.
