After the Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle, Microsoft has now announced two new bundles to boost sales of its Xbox One S.
These new bundles will release alongside Assassin’s Creed Origins on October 27th, Microsoft announced on Xbox Wire. The 500GB version will include a download code for Ubisoft’s upcoming title, an Xbox Wireless Controller, an Xbox Game Pass subscription for one month and a 14-day trial for Xbox Live Gold.
Meanwhile, the 1TB bundle (pictured) will feature all of the above, plus a full game download code of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. It will set consumers back 299, while the 500GB bundle will be priced at 229. Both are now available to pre-order.
Microsoft also announced that a free update for the Xbox One X Enhanced edition of Assassin’s Creed will be available to players when the new machine comes out on November 7th.
The Xbox One S launched in August 2016 and, back then, Xbox One sales increased 989 per cent week-on-week following the launch of the new console. But it sold out almost immediately in the UK, an issue that is likely to happen again with the launch of the Xbox One X on the horizon. At the beginning of September, retailers shared their concerns on stock shortages with MCV and confirmed earlier this week that Microsoft’s upcoming console is looking to be in extremely short supply.
