Mega Man spiritual successor Mighty No. 9 has suffered another delay due to its currently bug-plagued state.
MCVreported last month that retailers had pushed the game’s release to Q1 2016, and developer Comcept has nowconfirmedthe delay with backers.
According to the studio, the reason for the delay is due to issues regarding the game’s online features expected to be fully implemented by launch.
These bugs and issues have a direct affect on enjoyment of the game, so a decision was made to work these issues out before release,” Comcept’s statement reads.
Mighty No. 9 waspreviously delayedto September 2015 back in April. The game pulled in $3.8m during its Kickstarter campaign in 2013.
