Milestone announces Aero Birdies for iOS

At NASSCOM GDC this past weekend, Milestone Interactive announced the third game from its mobile game publishing division – Aero Birdies.

Developed by Mile Nine Studios, which also developed Worbble, is an endless runner that tasks players with catapulting a bird upwards while avoiding enemies.

Aero Birdies will be free to play, and players will be able to unlock more birds with different abilities, as well as power-ups. These can then be upgraded by collecting worms or buying them off the in-game store.

With Aero Birdies we have managed to raise the bar in terms of quality of apps not only for ourselves but the entire Indian game development community,” says Milestone chairman and CEO Jayont R. Sharma.

We have been working on this game with Mile Nine studios for over a year now and are extremely thrilled with the results,” Sharma added.

Aero Birdies is set for release on 12th December for iOS devices.
