Sales for Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World were only down 46 per cent week-on-week

Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World continued to perform really well at retail last week, taking the top spot in the UK weekly charts once again, with sales only decreasing 46 per cent week-on-week – a great performance for a second week.

Meanwhile, EA’s UFC 3 debuted at No.2, much like 2016’s UFC 2. However, sales for the new entry were down 52 per cent compared to the previous title in EA Sports’ franchise. There was another new title in the Top Ten, as Dissidia Final Fantasy NT entered the charts at No.9. Previous entries in the Dissidia Final Fantasy franchise were PSP only, with the first entry in the series making it to No.10 in 2009 and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy debuting at No.24 in 2011.

Dragon Ball Fighterz, having debuted at No.2 the week before, had to settle for No.6 last week, with sales dropping 64 per cent week-on-week.

Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 18 and GTA V kept their spots in the Top Five, while Super Mario Odyssey made a comeback in the Top Ten with sales increasing 84 per cent week-on-week following a price cut.
