Pokmon Black and White have sold 1m units across Europe since the pair hit shelves on March 4th.
The new DS adventure titles beat the previous Pokmon sales record in the UK to become the fastest-selling games in the series.
Europe’s total install base for Pokmon titles has also now exceeded 35m units.
The news comes ahead of the launch of the Pokmon Global Link website which goes live on March 30th. Players will be able to upload saved data in Black and White to www.pokemon-gl.com and use it to access new content in-game such as the Pokmon Dream World and Global Battle Union.
Pokmon Black and White feature 150 new monsters to catch and train, with a range of new areas, items and attacks to discover. Both games have a Metacritic score of 87.
