MotorStorm Apocalypse will now not be released in Japan, SCEJ has confirmed.
The game was initially delayed in the aftermath of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in March.
No official reason was given, but seeing as the racer is set amidst the tumbling ruins of an earthquake-ravaged city it’s not hard to guess why.
Apocalypse was eventually granted a release in the UK a few weeks later, and until now Sony had always inferred that it would hit Japanese retail eventually.
The European and American versions are region free.
