The first MCV PES Tournament of the season will take place at London’s Rex Bar on Thursday November 27th – and Konami is now inviting teams to sign up.
Last year’s online Industry Rankings competition proved a huge hit, but this year it’s all about looking into the whites of your opponents’ eyes – and enjoying a series of big nights out throughout the year.
The Tournament is open to all MCV readers, but the number of teams granted a starting place is strictly limited. Entrants must be in teams of two and have to work for the same company.
The Tournament will be played on Xbox 360 versions of PES 2009, which is released in Europe on October 17th. The winners will get a special trophy plus 300 of Play.com vouchers and the runners-up will get Club Wembley tickets for England vs Ukraine in April.
