PES 2017 reveal scheduled for this month

Konami has released the first details of PES 2017, which is due out this August.

Powered once again with the Fox Engine, additions include the new Real Touch mechanic that alters the flow of the game based on more unpredictable ball movement, and a new Precise Pass system that brings these new variables to the passing game.

Also promised is a big visual upgrade, spanning all elements of the title including player models, lighting, pitch, crowds and stadiums. A number of new animations will complement this, too, ramping up the realism, while keeper AI and agility is also being touted, as is adaptive CPU AI.

Also promised is full 11 vs 11 online multiplayer.

The game is going to be premiered at the 2016 PES League World Finals in Milan later this month.

It is fitting that we use the UEFA Champions League Final, the world’s greatest club competition, and the culmination of another hugely successful PES League season to reveal PES 2017,” Konami president Tomotada Tashiro said.

As 32 of the world’s best PES players gather to compete, our commitment to reaching new heights of realism and fun will also be demonstrated. May 27th and 28th will be a celebration of all that is great about football – and the first showing of PES 2017 will elevate the series to a whole new level.”

The game will then be further detailed at E3 next month.
