YouTube star PewDiePie continues to ascend to new financial heights, doubling his earnings in the last year.
Last year it was reported that the star was making in the region of $4m a year, pointing to decent growth for the Swede in the last 12 months.

PewDiePie was the single most watched person on YouTube in 2014, attracting 4.1bn views and growing to 33.5 subscribers (he's added a further 4m in the first half of 2015, too). In March he was featured in Time's ‘The 30 Most Influential People on the Internet' list.
